In 2017 convicted chld molstr Marlin Joseph, shot 36-year-old Kaladda Crowell and her 11 year old daughter on Dec. 28. 2017
Joseph was caught after several days on the run.
He was charged and convicted with two counts of first-degree murder and was sentenced to death.
Prosecutors called the deaths especially heinous, atrocious and cruel.
The Florida Supreme Court upheld the death sentence and
rejected arguments an attorney made on behalf of Marlin Joseph and affirmed the death sentence. in 2022
Looks like he was sent back to PBC jail while a new appeal was going through. Based on what I read they denied the motions because I don’t see anymore info as per new court dates so hopefully this situation is coming to an end point.
