In 2009 former escort Dalia Dippolito was arrested for attempting to hire a hit man to delete her husband.
Luck for the husband it hit man was actually an undercover officer who recorded the entire interaction. There are a huge amount of video posted on this subject but I really haven’t seen anything about her current situation.
Dalia was convicted and sentenced however the court of appeals granted her a new trial. Based on the huge amount of evidence Dalia was convicted again and sentenced to 16 years and is currently being housed in the Lowell Annex and is set to be released in 2030.
I really didn’t understand why the house arrest time counted for the sentencing but that’s what it appears to have happened.
