Jasmine Nelson was charged and convicted in the fatal shooting of another woman in Echo Lake Park in 2022. She claimed that she brought a pistl along to defend herself and her sister during a planned fistfght, according to police.
According to her arrest report, Jasmine Nelson of Riviera Beach said her sister and the victim, were meeting in the park to fght at about 6 p.m. March 14 2022
Nelson said she tagged along to “make sure her sister had a fair fght” and told police she brought a gn to the park, because it would “keep people away from her during the fght.”
I was sent a video that is still on my Youtube shorts that shows Jasmine rushing towards the victim brandishing a gn.
In the video she is seen swinging a gn at the victim as if to pistl-whip her. However, the gn accidentally fires, striking the victim.
She plead guilty to the charge of manslaughter and was sentenced to 20 years in Florida state prison.
