A Florida man is facing three felony charges following a Juno Beach Police Department investigation into allegations involving chldren under the age of 12.
According to a probable-cause affidavit filed in Palm Beach County, Kevin Michael Weber is charged with:
- Two counts of sexual battery involving a person under 12, classified as capital felonies under Florida law.
- One count of lewd or lascivious molestation involving a person under 12, classified as a life felony.
The charges are allegations. Weber has not been convicted in connection with this case.
INVESTIGATION BEGAN WITH A DCF REPORT
The investigation began in August 2025 after allegations of chld abuse were reported to the Florida Department of Children and Families.
A DCF investigator contacted the Juno Beach Police Department and requested assistance investigating the report. Detectives subsequently coordinated with DCF and members of a Child Protection Team.
According to the affidavit, investigators received allegations involving more than one chld. Police believe the reported conduct occurred on multiple occasions over a period of several years.
The children’s names, exact ages, relationships and other identifying details are not being published.
SPECIALIZED INTERVIEWS CONDUCTED
The affidavit states that specialized forensic interviews were conducted in September 2025. These interviews are designed to allow children to speak with trained professionals in a controlled environment while investigators observe from a separate location.
Police reported that the chldren provided information concerning alleged abuse by Weber. The affidavit also references allegations received from additional individuals during the broader investigation.
Specific descriptions of the alleged conduct are being withheld to protect the chldren and avoid republishing graphic information involving minrs.
Investigators also consulted medical and child-protection professionals as part of the case. Private medical information contained in the court filing is not being published.
POLICE SEEK FELONY CHARGES
After reviewing the interviews, statements and findings gathered during the investigation, Juno Beach police said they developed probable cause to pursue charges against Weber.
The probable-cause affidavit was signed on July 13, 2026, and filed in Palm Beach County court records.
Under Florida law, a capital felony is the state’s most serious classification of criminal offense. A life felony can carry a possible sentence of life imprisonment. The potential punishment in any case depends on the charges ultimately prosecuted, the evidence presented and the outcome of the court proceedings.
The filing of an arrest affidavit does not determine guilt. Prosecutors must still evaluate the case, pursue any formal charges and prove those charges through the judicial process.

No information that could identify the chldren, their relatives or witnesses is included in this report.
Addresses, birthdates, medical information and explicit descriptions contained in the police affidavit have also been withheld.
