What happened: A man ran to a West Palm Beach fire station after he was stabbed multiple times by an elderly man, only to be stabbed again after he arrived.

Background: On Tuesday at about 11:15 p.m., officers responded to Fire Station 3, located on 5050 Broadway Avenue, after receiving reports about a stabbing that occurred on 49th Street, the West Palm Beach Police Department says. While speaking with the VIC, he said he got into an argument with David Steeves, 72, whom he knew.

During the argument, Steeves stabbed the VIC multiple times. The VIC ran to the fire station, where Steeves followed him and proceeded to stab him.

Steeves was charged with attempted second-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
