A Palm Beach County man has been convicted and sentenced to 15 years in Florida state prison for three counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery (Florida Statute 800.04(4)(a)(1)).

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office probable cause affidavit, the suspect was arrested on October 26, 2024, after a juvenile female victim reported being the victim of SA assault. She described multiple incidents in which the suspect touched her inappropriately, both above and below her clothing, in a lewd or lascivious manner at two different residences.

The investigation also uncovered additional acts of SA assault involving the victim.
Detectives conducted a sworn recorded interview with the victim and arranged a one-party consent recorded phone call with the suspect. During the call, the victim expressed that she was nervous because of the SA assault incidents. The suspect allegedly told her he would handle it and instructed her not to say anything.

After the suspect was located and read his Miranda rights, he initially denied the allegations. However, based on the victim’s statements, the recorded call, and the overall investigation, detectives determined probable cause existed for the three felony counts. He was arrested and transported to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Following his arrest, the suspect was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

This case is now closed. As with all criminal cases, the suspect was presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
